What you will need: A pack of mixed seafood, white wine (a few bottles will do, hahaha) risotto rice, fresh or canned tomatoes, a touch of lime, pine nuts, olive oil, salt, pepper and saffron.
What you will do: Fry the seafood mix in a tiny bit of olive oil for a few minutes. Add the rice; fry for a couple of minutes and then poor some white wine over it. Cover and simmer until the rice is totally cooked. When your almost done add the pine nuts, tomatoes and spices.
Serve this tasty risotto as a light dinner accompanied with some good white wine and you’re in for a perfect, tasty aphrodisiac meal right before you get some action.
RECIPE 2 – HOT HOT HOT
It’s all about the spices. Everyone knows that hot and spicy foods are a total turn on. Chili peppers, hot peppers, garlic (yeah it’s going to smell but if both of you eat garlic then no one cares.) Put the spiced meat and garlic in an oven dish, cover and bake until the chicken is golden brown. 10 minutes before taking it out you need to take it out of the oven, smear it with the fine mixture of honey and finely chopped chili pepper. Leave in the oven until it is a nice crispy crust.
Serve this delectable meal with a yogurt or sour cream sauce to tone down the spiciness.
RECIPE 3 – AVOCADO SALSAThere is something about avocados that really get the juices flowing and kicks the libido up a notch. Something about this mean green sex making machine gets you off to a good start and opens up the appetite and I’m not talking about food.
What you will need: 1 package (16 once) frozen corn kernels (thawed), 2 cans (2,25 ounce) sliced ripe olives (drained), 1 red bell pepper (chopped), 1 tomato (chopped), 1 small onion (chopped), 5 cloves garlic (minced), 1/3 cup olive oil, ¼ cup lemon juice, 3 table spoons cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 4 avocados – peeled, pitted and diced.
What you will do: In a large bowl, mix corn, olives, red bell pepper, tomato and onion. Then in a small bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cider vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper. Pour into the bowl the corn mixture and toss. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight.
Stir in the avocados right before serving.
RECIPE 4 – ONE-PAN SALMON WITH ROASTED ASPARAGUSAsparaguses worldwide stir up lust in man and women. It is said that asparagus can boost histamine production which is necessary for reaching an orgasm in both sexes. Now that you know this, you probably will not go another week without adding asparagus to the menu.
What you will need: 400g new potatoes halved in a large pot, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 8 asparagus spears, trimmed and halved, 2 handfuls cherry tomatoes, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 salmon fillets, handful of basil leaves.
What you will do: Heat oven to 220 C (428 degrees Fahrenheit) Tip the potatoes an 1 tbsp of olive oil into an oven proof dish, then roast the potatoes for 20 mins until starting to brown. Toss the asparagus in with the potatoes, and then return to oven for 15 mins.
Throw in the cherry tomatoes and vinegar and nestle the salmon amongst the vegetables. Drizzle with the remaining oil and return to the oven for a final 10-15 mins until the salmon is completely cooked. Scatter over the basil leaves and serve everything straight from the dish.
RECIPE 5 – DID YOU SAY CHOCOLATE?No wait, I did. To top off an aphrodisiac meal you cannot ignore chocolate. It is the king of pure and natural aphrodisiacs. It both contains the PEA aka the “love chemical” and Anandamide the psychoactive “feel good” chemical which makes for a pretty seductive mix. You now understand that any chocolate recipe will do but here is one of my favorites which is sure to impress.
What you will need: 1 pkg yellow cake mix, 4 eggs, 1 pkg instant white chocolate pudding mix, ½ cup cold water, ½ cup vegetable oil, ½ cup amaretto liqueur, ¼ teaspoon almond extract, ½ cup butter, ¼ cup water, 1 cup white sugar, ½ cup amaretto liqueur, 1 pkg vanilla frosting, ¼ cup blanched slivered almonds. Makes 1 (10 inch) Bundt cake.
What you will do: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C). Lightly oil a 10 inch non-stick Bundt pan.
In a large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, pudding mix, ½ cup of cold wate, oil, ½ cup amaretto and ¼ teaspoon almond extract. Blend well for approximately 3 minutes.
Pour batter into prepared 10 inch Bundt pan. Bake at 2350 degrees F for 45 minutes to an hour, or until toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean.
Remove cake from oven and use an ice pick or skewer to make as many holes as possible into the cake. Apply glaze while cake is still warm. Slowly and patiently drizzle glaze over cake including the edges and center of Bundt pan. Allow cake to cool in the pan for at least 2 hours.
To make glaze: Combine butter, sugar, ¼ cup of water, and ½ cup amaretto in saucepan. Bring to a boil, and continue to boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
To make topping: Lightly toast slivered almonds in the oven. This will take 5 to 10 minutes. Stir frequently and be careful not to burn. Heat ¼ cup of the prepared frosting in the microwave for 10 seconds to soften. Place the cake on a serving dish and use a spoon to drizzle the softened frosting over the cake. Scatter toasted almonds over cake before frosting cools.
Cool and enjoy this delicious and very aphrodisiac desert. Adding the almonds just make it all that more seductive.
